How many treatments will I need?
While skin benefits from just one treatment, three to five treatments are recommended for optimal results. Treatments are spaced approximately one month apart.
Does it hurt?
Discomfort is usually minimal as topical anesthesia is applied before the procedure and cold air is used on the treatment area during the procedure. After treatment, some people feel like they have a sunburn, which usually lasts approximately 1 to 3 hours
Is it safe?
Yes, the fractional method treatment is safe and can be used on any part of the body but is particularly useful on the face, neck, chest, and hands. The treatment can also be used on all skin types, but techniques vary depending on patient age, skin type, sun exposure, and body location.
What is recovery like?

When will I see results?

How it works
Photorejuvenation uses the power of Intense Pulse Light (IPL) energy to gently, yet effectively, reduce skin pigmentation and uneven texture. Skin is left brighter, more youthful, and even-toned. Using many different wavelengths of light, the Photorejuvenation device treats many skin conditions, including rosacea (redness, broken capillaries, spider veins, blotchiness), brown discolouration (age spots, acne scarring), and stimulates the production of new collagen—all in one treatment. How many treatments will I need?
A few treatments are usually required for optimal results, spaced about a month apart. After treatment, the skin will gradually appear smoother, firmer and more refreshed. The tone and texture of the skin will improve and appear naturally rejuvenated.
Does it hurt?
The sensation is like a slight sting or snapping of a rubber band against the skin. A cold gel is applied to the treatment area before the treatment begins to minimize any discomfort.
Is it safe?
Yes, Photo-rejuvenation with IPL is safe. The procedure does not disrupt the skin’s surface so there is no downtime required. Most people are able to return to their normal routines immediately after treatment.
When will I see results?
Immediately after treatment clients may experience temporary redness but this usually lasts no longer than 24 hours. Any brown spots will become darker before naturally flaking off within a few days and results will continue to improve over the coarse of a few weeks.
